1. Information Collection and Use

We only collect the minimum data necessary to provide a gamified focus experience:

Focus and Productivity Data: We record the duration of your focus sessions, the virtual flight routes you complete, and categories (e.g., "Work", "Study"). By default, this data is stored locally on your device.
Account Information: If you create a FocusAir account to sync your progress, we collect your email address. If using "Sign in with Apple," we only receive the unique identifier provided by Apple.
Device and Technical Data: To ensure app stability, we collect anonymous information such as device model, operating system version, and crash logs.

2. App Blocking and Permissions (Screen Time API)

FocusAir includes features to limit distractions by blocking other applications. This is handled via system-level permissions:

iOS (Screen Time API / FamilyControls): FocusAir requests this permission to restrict access to distracting apps during a session. We cannot see your app usage history, see which apps you have installed, or access any data within those apps.
Android (Accessibility Service / Usage Stats): If used, these permissions are strictly for detecting when a "distracting" app is opened during a focus session. We do not monitor or collect screen content.

3. Location and Virtual Mapping

FocusAir features a virtual 3D globe and flight routes to gamify your focus journey:

No Real-World Tracking: FocusAir does not access your device's GPS or track your physical location.
Virtual Progress: All flight paths and city unlocks are purely simulated based on your set focus time and do not represent your actual movements.

4. Third-Party Services and Payments

We use trusted third-party providers for specific app functionalities:

Payments: All In-App Purchases are processed through Apple or Google. We do not have access to your credit card or billing details.
Analytics and Infrastructure: We may use tools (such as RevenueCat) to manage subscriptions and anonymous analytics to improve app features.

5. Data Retention and Deletion

We believe you should have full control over your data:

Local Data: You can clear your focus history or flight data anytime within the app settings.
Account Deletion: You may request to delete your account and all associated cloud data via the "Settings" menu or by contacting us at our support email.

6. Children's Privacy

FocusAir is not intended for children under 13 (or 16 in certain jurisdictions). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we discover such data has been collected, we will take immediate steps to delete it.

7. International Compliance (GDPR & CCPA)

We respect your rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. We apply these high standards of privacy to all our users worldwide.
